Living Free Institute is a ministry branch of Spirit of Life Recovery, founded in 2006 by Robert and Stephanie Tucker. At that time, Robert and Stephanie were leading New Life Spirit Recovery, a Christ-centered, state-certified drug and alcohol treatment program. As pressures increased to conform to secular mental health standards, the need for separate, ministry-focused resources became clear. In 2020, New Life Spirit Recovery officially closed its doors—but from that ending, a new season of ministry was birthed.

Today, Spirit of Life has expanded into the Living Free Institute—a healing, training and coaching ministry offering a wealth of resources focused on true intimacy with Jesus and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Our core areas of ministry include codependence recovery, trauma-informed healing, counseling and Spirit-led inner transformation.

Robert and Stephanie continue to lead this work, bringing more than 45 years of combined experience in both professional and ministry settings. Stephanie leads the Invitation Healing Retreat and oversees our coaching programs, while Robert facilitates both online and in-person intensives for men and women through a professional ministerial approach. While they both maintain professional insight and in depth understanding of the healing process through the lens of body, soul and spirit, their true heart is to bring people to find the authentic person of Jesus and the marvelous reality of the power, authority and freedom He offers to those who seek Him
